Deputy Information Minister, Eugene Fahngon says Presidential Press Secretary Sam Manneh is not suspended as being speculated by the public. The Government of Liberia has broken silence on the suspension news of Presidential Press Secretary Sam Manneh, terming the allegation as false and misleading.
The clarification made by the government comes in after a widespread speculation that the Presidential Press Secretary was suspended for allegedly gossiping the President of Liberia, George M. Weah.
Addressing the MICAT regular press briefing on Thursday, the Deputy Information Minister, noted that Mr. Manneh still remains the legitimate Press Secretary to the President in spite of the lies spread by some Liberians on Social media platforms.
