On Monday April 12, the CEO of Twitter announced on his official Twitter account that twitter is officially in Africa and further thanking Ghana and President Nana Akufo Ado.

Few minutes after his tweet, the Ghanaian president retweeted commending Twitter for it’s choice of having their Africa headquarter in Ghana.

“The choice of Ghana as HQ for twitter’s Africa opperations is Excellent news. Gov’t and Ghanaians welcome very much this announcement and the confidence reposed in our country”
