According to a report by Hip Hop Ville on Facebook, Award winning , Tanzanian Songstress, Zuchu who is currently signed to Wasafi Records, reportedly rejected a $108,000 deal from an alcoholic brand due to her Islamic faith.
According to multiple reports, the singer said she doesn’t drink alcohol and has never tasted it before, therefore, it isn’t right for her to promote a brand she doesn’t use.

The singer’s mother who is a legendary Tanzanian singer named Khadija Kopa reportedly warned her daughter about promoting alcoholic beverages.
Zuchu is known for her hit songs like ‘Number One ( Rayvanny feat)’, ‘Wana’, ‘Litawachoma’ and Nyumba ndogo’.
It was reported earlier this month on April 4, by @Zuchu_Charts on Twitter that the songstress’ Youtube Channel Subscribers has now surpassed 1.9M, making her the fifth female artiste to hit such a milestone in the whole of the African continent. What an achievement.
