Yesterday, Kobazzie aka “the Lorma boy” took to his Facebook page where he informed his fans that he will be releasing an Ep. This will be his first one. As we all know, we have seen the singer travels back and forth from LIBERIA to Nigeria, Ghana and London making some professional connections. Just like other big African artistes, he wants to make his country proud and be used as a ray of hope for other young talents like him who are also from Liberia.

In an interview on March 23, with Djendu on BBC 1 Xtra in London, Uk, he said, “… I’m not just happy for me. Ume, me being here serves as a motivation to a lot of people out there…hey, look at Kobazzie and he made it at the biggest radio station in the world. BBC, anything is possible! So, I’m very grateful. All my LIBERIAN people are here , they’re watching and they’re happy too.’

Who would’ve thought three years ago, the released of “Make it Bounce” followed by his first major remix of this same song would earned him a tangible collaboration with one of Nigeria’s biggest A-list superstar, Davido, was gonna served as a pathway for him to push his music to the outside world? The video which now has 1M views on Davido’s YouTube channel has earned him some foreign fanbase.

Since then he went on to win the MTN LIBERIAN music awards “people’s choice awards”, which opened door for him to collaborate with one of Ghana’s biggest superstar Stonebowy. The video now has over 157k views on YouTube.

After this collaboration, he then worked with Bucky Raw a few weeks ago, where they worked on a song together and shot the video in Ghana. The song now has 90k views on YouTube.

Kobazzie has improved tremendously as an artist which has now set him apart from a lot of our home based. He has not only released songs/videos , but you can see that all of his work were professional done ,which makes us appreciate him for stepping up and adding value to the music scene.

Although the singer has yet to release more information regarding the upcoming EP, however, he revealed that he was able to finally work with Teni, an artiste name “Archie” other artistes’ names he “cannot call right now”, but it will be fire, he told Djendu during his in studio interview.
