“Indie Afriq” is a movies platform that promotes filmmakers from around. The focus is Liberia however, it is not limited to just Liberia. The website was started mainly due to the fact that independent Liberian filmmakers don’t really have a way of selling their films…DVD is dying and Alvin Nyemah wanted to create a place for filmmakers to show their good quality contents to their fans around the world. “his is new a territory for me so, I’m learning as I go along”. says Alvin Nyemah.

Alvin Nyemah is a movie producer and a director. He is based in Bensalem, PA. Where he lives with his beautiful wife and their one-year-old daughter. Nyemah has shot and produced a full-length movie (DELUDE) and a couple of music videos which has given him the credibility to be one of the best filmmakers out of Liberia. When asks , how he learned filmmaking he respond, “University of youtube!”
