In the World of filmmaking, males are the dominant force in the industry, most especially in the US independent film industry.  Today a Liberian born and US base female filmmaker “Love Weah” is changing the dynamics and giving many of her kind hope. She is as well taking the leadership role by not just being in front of the camera but as well behind it.

With the disparities against females in the film industry that threatens their ability to be creative and tell their story through visual content,  some like Love Weah has dare to be subjected to limitations. She’s shining a light on all the obstacles that impedes African women living in the US from achieving their dreams  through visual content that is being distributed in the US.

She’s also a unifier and achieving that through bringing black females together from different countries in Africa to play a major role in her films. She would at the extent move beyond borders and traveled across the Atlantic ocean to get black females secure a role in her film in the US. Love Weah has produced and directed some episodes of her series “Daughters in America”.

Her TV series “Daughters in America” season one is set to be premiered on November 7th 2020 on several TV networks around the World. Love Weah is still in the process of producing more contents for Television and we all await to see more from her.
