Actor, producer , Artus Frank , who is also the current movie union President of Liberia is working hard to get illegal foreign movies from Ghana, Nigeria, India , Philippines, etc.. off the market.
Mr. Artus says, with the help of President George Mannah Weah, he now has the legit backing to accomplish what he promised filmmakers in Liberia. Earlier today, Mr. Artus and some members of the Liberia National Police (LNP) were captured clearing movies from stores that were in the habit of doing illegal distributing and selling movies.
According to reports, Nigerians are currently the biggest distributors of selling illegal foreign movies and due to this particular reason, Liberian film makers have been struggling to sell movies, which was basically affecting the movie industry growth.
We’ve never been so proud of you Mr. Artus. You got our support. Lay thin what can’t happen in their country dah it they want do to other people.
