In October in Puerto Rico, two pageant queens got married and joined one new family. Mariana Varela and Fabiola Valentn, who was named Miss Puerto Rico and Miss Argentina, respectively, in 2020, developed a romantic relationship that they concealed to the world.

Varela, who represented Argentina in the 2019 Miss Universe pageant, reportedly placed in the top 10 at the 2020 Miss Grand International competition.
In addition to modeling for numerous projects and fighting against gender violence, she also competes in pageants.
The Miss Grand International 2020 competition, where the couple first met, saw Valentn place in the top 10. She works with several modeling agencies, including one in Miami.
