Today, we will like to introduce you to a very talented artist name Naweh. Normally, when we described an artist as “talented” you know we always mean talent and Naweh is an exceptional one.
Vocalist, songwriter, and social activist. Naweh has been described as warm, gentle, and lively. Her musical sound is soulful, passionate, and melodic. The last child and only daughter of her parents her name means “It is Finish” which encompasses her attitude of approaching her dreams and goals with the intentions of being able to say those simple words. Naweh has also received her Masters in Social Work from the University of Pennsylvania. With her social justice education and passion for music, Naweh has combined the two by being of service in arts centered youth programs and performing at various humanitarian events such as Liberian Awards, Inc., The World Bank, and African Explosion. Naweh’s goal is to inspire through her music, promote the importance of education in the black community, and breakdown stereotypes about Africans through her words, style, and music.
We love her artistic vibe too.
