Kwame Oldpa Weeks has been named LSV’s Staff Writer, effective as of Wednesday April 11. Further bolstering the company’s ability to report detailed articles and provide current analysis on every Liberian artist.

The appointment came in a three-paragraphed letter emailed by CEO Augustina Kou Monpleh which read in part: “We have been following your regular postings on celebrities news. We believe that your writing is profound and we will love to have you join our team. We are delighted to offer you the position as Liberian Star Views’ executive staff writer.”

The letter continued, “By joining our winning team you will become a part of a dedicated growing team that works together to provide our audience/clients with the highest possible level of professional service.”

Weeks’ vast writing and blogging experience from his time with MN Web, and the GGF will provide readers with rich perspective on important stories about Liberian artists

“I’m so excited to be joining LSV at a time when there is so much enthusiasm about Liberian music, art and culture,” Weeks said in a statement.

Weeks is passionately acquainted with the Liberian entertainment media world, having worked at African Entertainment magazine for 3 years, one of those as Sproduction Editor in Chief.

There has been mounting Facebook chatter about a potential “talent exodus” from other Liberian entertainment blogs to Liberian Stars Views in the wake of her headquarters-launching rumors in Monrovia.
